I love playing tourist sometimes and today was one of those days.  I walked into the Irish Design store (specializes in Irish Clothing, Plaids, hats, sweaters, sheeps wool, scarves, Irish CDs, Celtic Music Collection and more) and went straight to the back where The Irish Tea Room was.  I ordered my favorite dish “Boxy” a combination of potatoes, chicken and curry inside of a crepe.   I love the food here, great Irish home cooking and tasty dishes!I also went across the street and bought a Caramel Candy Apple (a fine dessert with this dish.) Irish Cooking at it’s finest.  Here are some of the menu items.  Soup & Wheaten Bread $ 5.95, Salad Plate & Wheaten Bread $9.95, An Entree with 2 salads $11.50 (entrees- quiche, boxy, guiness meat pies, fish cakes, salads- A Salad of Greens, a Beet Salad, Broccoli Salad, Pasta Salad and sometimes an Apple Salad) For drinks there are:Ireland’s Classic Latte, Barry’s Tea, Bewley’s Herbal Tea, Local Red & White Wine, Irish Coffee, Bailey’s Latte, Hot Apple Cider, Hot Chocolate, Cappaccino, Mocha, Latte, Coffee and Imported Beer from Ireland - Harp & Guiness, For Dessert there are:Barn Brack Bread, Ginger Bread, Cranberry Almond  Crunch(like a cookie),Whiskey Cake, Various Pies, Bushmills & Bailey’s Cake, Bailey’s Cheese Cake and Tipperary Pie, Coconut Macroon, Raisin Teabiscuts and Caramel Squares, Chocolate Nut Crisp (another cookie), Chocolate Birds Nests, Empire Biscuits and Shortbread.**ask about their Gluten Free Desserts** 75 Queen, Niagara On The Lake, ON L0S1J0 in between Regent & Victoria Phone: (905) 468-4832
