Brain Waves, Use Them to Improve Your Life

High-Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta Frequencies to increase brain power I found this chart on Wikipedia when I was searching for Binaural beats.  I take time each day to do several meditations while I’m writing.  I find it relaxes me and helps me think clearer. It also blocks out the thumping noises from my neighbours (I find that so annoying!). I look up the types of brain waves on Youtube and play the rhythms.  It’s a good idea to read the blurb beside it, warning that it, “This Meditation can cause drowsiness do not operate a vehicle.”I’m working on expanding my mind, I want to find a way to use more than 10% (average person) of my brain. I also plan to experiment and have someone who is clincally slow, listen to the music while playing pogo, and see if it affects their brain. (New scientific study, if it has been done, send me the links!)
Frequency range Name Usually associated with: > 40 Hz Gamma waves Higher mental activity, including perception, problem solving, fear, and consciousness 13–40 Hz Beta waves Active, busy or anxious thinking and active concentration, arousal, cognition 7–13 Hz Alpha waves Relaxation (while awake), pre-sleep and pre-wake drowsiness 4–7 Hz Theta waves Dreams, deep meditation, REM sleep < 4 Hz Delta waves Deep dreamless sleep, loss of body awareness
