A Poem: Bright and Sunny, Dogs are so Funny!
I find it hard to work when the sun is shining and daisy starts whiningShe looks up at me with her big brown eyesand pleads for me to get off my chairI look out the window and see the sun out therecalling for me to go for a walkDaisy, jumps, dances and sings “Aroo”as she insists that I take her tooSo out we go for a walk near the doggy parklittle wagging tails and fur balls begin to barkgreetings, wet noses and sniffs to the derriermy little daisy smiles and flip flops high in the airdashing around the park, it’s a race to the other sideI’m getting dizzy here while I watch her strideShe’s okay I see even though she growlsletting Mr Hugo the greyhound know where she standsthey come racing back and roll in the mudan hour later we walk, exhausted and at easewhen she gets home , head to the bathtub pleaseScrubbing the mud is not a larkoh my aching back, so much muckhard to come off, I groan and moanI won’t take her back, I’ll keep her at homeThe next day the sun was therecalling for us to go outsidewe went to the park this timebut found a dry dirt trail insteadDaisy is happy and so am IWe had our time together in the sunAnd it was loads of fun
