An Answered Prayer makes me thankful!

Published by ideagirl under Life in general Edit This

When my friend told me she was diagnosed with cancer of the cervix, I didn’t say much.  I just told her I’d be there for her and pray for her.  In my prayers I would confess that the cancer cells must die and be replaced with new ones.  She went for her Kemo Therapy and after waiting many months, found out today that she’s in the clear!  It’s a relief to hear that she’s going to be okay.  I thank God and the powers that be for answering my prayers and those of others that I know who were agreeing with her in prayer.

In this day and age, we sometimes forget to pray, especially if everything seems to be going okay.  Then all of a sudden were knocked off our feet by something major and were down on our knees furtively praying and expecting an instant miracle!  Things take time and there is always a reason under the sun for us to go through a situation or problem.  It will help us to grow emotionally, physically and mentally.  You really have to learn to be positive once you’ve been diagnosed with cancer.  Also don’t wait till you hear any bad news about your health, start now to take better care of yourself. Your body is your temple, your house for your spirit while you are here on earth so take good care of it!  Eat proper and nutritious meals, exercise, meditate and pray and ask for wisdom and guidance and protection everyday!  Not only for yourself but for your friends, family and loved ones.

We must not only take time each day to feed our physical bodies but we must nurture our spiritual bodies as well, in order to stay completely balanced.  Now many of us believe in various types of higher power.  I believe in God but I also believe in the powers of the universe, angels and other spirit beings are here to assist me while i bide my time on earth and learn the lessons in life. I believe once we have accomplished our lessons then we move on to the next level, be it heaven, or coming back to earth again and learning another set of lessons.  One really doesn’t know if what they believe is really true but to each his own.  It’s okay to believe what you want, as long as your being a loving, caring person and doing your best to help those around you then your going to be okay!
