I made a website for Valentines Day!

Valentines Day FunHappy Valentines Day One of my projects this week was to make a website about that special day on Feb 14th each year. I have made several sites so far these past two months, but this one has been the most fun to do research. I spend hours looking up links and sites of interest for my web pages, then post the information to share with all of you. You can view my work of art at http://www.squidoo.com/ideagirlvalentinesday

I wanted to do something for the whole family, so I not only included his and her gift giving, but also party planning, making your own crafts as gifts and making valentine cards and coupons. I like the coupon idea because when you are living on a shoestring budget, it is nice to know you can give a gift from the heart.

The basic idea is to make coupons for: have a hug, do the dishes, make love (that is for the imagination), foot rub, back rub. I hope you get the idea.

It is about giving some of your time to the other person by doing something special for them. Usually you would make about ten coupons. This idea is also great for Christmas, Birthdays and other kinds of gifts.

I have even seen coupons for babysitting time or swap a kid time (I will take care of your kids for 2 hours on a Tuesday night and you will do the same for me.) This allows the parents to have some much needed time alone to go out on a date or stay at home and spend some quality time together, alone and undisturbed.

Other things on this site are budget and shopping ideas, The story of St Valentine and links to all sorts of fun sites for activities, movies and music.
